What we can support you with

Neurodivergence shows up differently for everyone. In therapy, we often support clients with:

  • ADHD (diagnosed or suspected)

  • Autism (diagnosed or suspected)

  • Burnout and chronic overwhelm

  • Emotional regulation, intensity and shutdown

  • Difficulty with focus, motivation, or task initiation

  • Sensory difficulties and overstimulation

  • Masking and identity exploration

  • Shame, self-criticism, or feeling “behind”

  • Relationships and communication challenges

  • Life transitions, including the perinatal period

  • Perinatal and postpartum neurodivergent experiences

  • Anxiety related to overwhelm or performance pressure

  • Life transitions, including diagnosis or late discovery

A Space to Be Fully You

You don’t need to perform, mask, or “get it right” here.

Our goal is to create a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to relate to yourself with more compassion and clarity. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live in a way that feels more aligned, sustainable, and supportive for your brain—not the version of you the world has expected you to be.

ADHD & Neurodivergent Therapy

At Echo, we offer neurodivergent-affirming therapy. This means you’re stepping into a space where your experiences don’t need to be explained, justified, or minimized. You are already understood as whole, capable, and worthy of care exactly as you are.

We welcome individuals who identify as neurodivergent in any way—whether you have a formal diagnosis or are simply beginning to explore this part of yourself. You do not need proof to belong here.

Living in a world that wasn’t designed with your brain in mind can feel overwhelming, confusing, and deeply exhausting. Many of our clients come to us feeling burnt out from trying to keep up, mask, or meet expectations that never quite fit. You may have spent years feeling “too much,” “not enough,” or like you’re constantly working harder than others just to get by.

We see you.

Our Approach

Our work is grounded in the belief that your brain is not something to fix-it’s something to understand, support, and work with.

Rather than focusing on changing who you are, we focus on helping you:

  • Make sense of your internal world (thoughts, emotions, sensory experiences)

  • Understand your nervous system and how it responds to stress, overwhelm, and demand

  • Gently unlearn patterns of masking, self-criticism, and burnout

  • Build sustainable ways of living that honour your capacity and needs

  • Identify and harness your natural strengths

We draw from approaches such as parts work, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic and nervous system-based practices, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Sessions are collaborative, flexible, and tailored to you-whether you need more structure and guidance or space to move at your own pace.
